It seems well known that the UCLA Medical Center has a big problem on their hands. We know a few weeks ago they outed some employees that had searched in to Britney Spears' medical records.And it wasn't low level employees, it was doctors as well. Six people were fired over the incident and two were suspended and reprimanded. I would hate to think what they do when your asleep!!Now, word has leaked out that other star's medical records have been looked at too. It seems that medical personnel are being paid off by tabloid magazines to peak and give scoops on conditions. UCLA would now be the last stop for anyone wanting some privacy. Farrah Fawcett is the latest patient to have her confidentiality breached. It seems that when her cancer had relapsed last fall, an employee found out and tipped off the Enquirer. The Enquirer printed the story before Farrah could tell her son and her mother! How awful.If I was a star, I would seriously be wondering about my records at UCLA. This is two incidents in recent months where employees have been canned for snooping. I hope the tabloids paid them well for the scoop since they are out of jobs, now. Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph confirms that he has met the singer and says she's "doing great.
"I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being," Rudolph said.
He would not comment further, explaining, "this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing."
Last week, a source tells that Spears met with Rudolph, who is credited for discovering her and managing her career for 9 years. (They stopped talking last February after she blamed him for forcing her into rehab.)
"People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her," a friend of the Spears family said. "He's the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise."
Rudolph is currently producing the MTV show Rock the Cradle, which debuts April 3.

"It's true," a source close to Britney told E! News. "They are working together."
Britney and Larry had a rollercoaster of a professional relationship that ended with Britney publicly blaming him for pressuring her to enter rehab, according E!.
Larry is credited with taking Britney from just a small-town former-Disney actor and turning her into the world famous pop star that she is.
The duo, who worked together for almost nine years, parted ways around the time Britney married now ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
Jamie Spears, Britney father and co-conservator, has been an outspoken supporter of Larry, according to E!. It is not known if Jamie was involved in the reunion of Britney and her former manager.

It seems miracles really can happen. As the world watched Britney Spears' debut last week on How I Met Your Mother, it was obvious that the former pop star was looking good, dare we say it, even back to her old self!
"It looked like Britney had lost 15 pounds in four weeks," a source close to the singer tells OK!. And sure enough — gone was the bloat, the ratty hair and the puffy face. In their place, a slimmer, fresh-faced girl with a smile on her face and determination in her step.
So how did she do it? "Britney's a pro at losing weight fast," a Spears pal tells OK!. "She can drop seven to 10 pounds in two weeks." Although now, in Britney's case, it's about adopting a longterm plan she can stick to. Sources say Brit has given up her old unhealthy weight loss habits, like popping laxatives and diet pills.
The 5-foot-4 singer has also replaced soda and fast food with five, small protein-packed meals a day. Doing so has enabled her to peel off the pounds. "Eating five meals a day will boost your metabolism," Dr. David Katzin of Fresh Diet, a meal delivery program tells OK!. "In fact, by eating superclean, Zone balanced foods at each of your five meals, you will find that your metabolism goes into overdrive, becoming extremely efficient at burning calories."
And get this — Brit's even cut back on her Starbucks Frappachino fixes! "Britney used to come in every day. Now she just comes in from time to time and orders a lighter version," a barista at a Malibu Starbucks tells OK!.
To complement her healthier eating habits, Britney works out regularly as well, although you probably won't see her jogging around her neighborhood. The recovering pop star enjoys daily dance workouts at L.A.'s Millennium Dance Complex, where sources tell OK! she does squats along with chair and pole dancing. When she does run, it's on a treadmill at home, away from the spying eyes of the paparazzi.

The pop star is bringing erstwhile manager Larry Rudolph back into her inner circle.

The duo, whose relationship has undergone well-chronicled ups and downs, most recently with the pair parting ways after Spears publicly blamed him for forcing her into rehab, is apparently back in business.

It's unclear when Rudolph reentered the picture, but Spears' career has already been on the upswing, particularly in the wake of her fairly well-received, ratings-grabbing guest-starring turn on How I Met Your Mother last week.

Rudolph is the eagle-eyed manager credited with discovering Spears and crafting her career from small-town Louisiana ingenue to mouse-ear-wearing Disney star to international pop icon. They were together for roughly nine years, ultimately splitting around the time Spears wed Kevin Federline.

Just one day after her 2006 split from K-Fed, however, Rudolph was back on her arm. Their second professional go-round was much less lengthy—and successful—than their first, ultimately disintegrating in early 2007 after Spears let loose a series of caustic on-camera rants about Rudolph being the reason she was tricked into entering rehab and for turning her family against her.

Jamie Spears, however, has always been a public Rudolph supporter. While Papa Spears is currently holding (very tightly) the reins of his daughter's life, it's unclear whether he had any part in reforging the partnership.

Regardless, Rudolph's resumes his position after succeeding who might be Spears' most infamous manager to date, former pal Sam Lutfi.

Britney Spears is reuniting with business manager Larry Rudolph, E! News reports. Spears and Rudolph worked together for many years off-and-on, and he is credited with shaping her highly successful early career. They most recently parted ways last year after Spears blamed him, in part, for encouraging her to enter Promises rehab center in Malibu. Of reports that they have decided to pair up again, a source tells E!: "It's true. They are working together."At the time when Spears parted ways with Rudolph last year, her father, Jamie, sent an email to the New York Post supporting Rudolph despite his daughter's decision to sever their relationship. "When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done," Jamie wrote. "She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life." Britney Spears wants to go back to the days of the golden oldies.Sources tells us Brit has buried the hatchet and wants to re-hire former manager, Larry Rudolph, the guy was the mastermind behind her blazing career. Brit wanted to tar and feather Rudolph before she 86'd him last year, blaming him in part for what she felt was a bogus stint at the Promises rehab joint.We're told nothing has been finalized, but Brit now wants him back. She can't hire and fire herself, but we're told the conservators probably will do what Brit wants, partly because they realize the conservatorship won't last forever and when it's over they don't want Brit to undo all the decisions.Actually, it's a good idea. Sounds like Brit gets it -- kinda, sorta.

Is Brit working on a new album or what?

Britney Spears is back in the studio working on another album - but if her conservator/dad, Jamie, has his way, she'll stop the music and concentrate on her TV career. A Spears insider said, "Britney did a great job on 'How I Met Your Mother.' She got the show its highest ratings yet, but more importantly for Jamie, he wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble. A sitcom would do that. So he's exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show." Spears has also been offered a guest-starring stint on "30 Rock."

Though the pair had parted company a year ago, sources confirm exclusively to OK! that the "Toxic" songstress has once again been taken under Larry's wing.Larry and Brit share a long and bumpy history. He was the visionary who discovered the young star Britney and shepherded her career from teen pop tart to international superstar. And when her life began to spiral dangerously out of control in the weeks and months following her Oct. 2006 divorce from Kevin Federline, it was Larry who Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, turned to for help getting her into rehab. After her brief stint at the Promises clinic in Malibu, Brit went public with her ill-feelings toward Larry, chastising him on camera in a bizarre, disjointed rant, for what she viewed as siding with her folks against her. However, Brit's dad has always been open about his positive feelings toward Larry, even publicly thanking Larry for his efforts. And now Jamie, who has continued to think the world of Larry both as a manager and as a friend who has Britney's best interests at heart, has finally convinced Britney to let him take over the reins of her recently resurgent career.

George Clooney: “I did try to adopt Britney Spears”

George Clooney says he once thought about adopting Britney Spears — so that she could look after him in later life.The ‘Michael Clayton’ star, 46, told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “I did try to adopt Britney Spears – you know, somebody with some cash to take care of me in my old age. She wasn’t having it.”Clooney also hinted he may be settling down with his new girlfriend Sarah Larson, a former cocktail waitress.He said he thinks about marriage “every other day”, and that, “[marriage] is something that’s a sort of endgame for people.”The Hollywood star is currently promoting his new film Leather-heads with co-star Renée Zellweger.
