Britney Spears is back on television in the CBS TV hit comedy "How I Met Your Mother" next week in a prime time episode that can do nothing but help her career and her flattened out self-esteem. But would she ever reunite with Dr. Phil? There was a ton of speculation earlier that the fallen pop tart was going to appear on his TV show right after on of her stays in the hospital but the controversy was so big that it never happened.

The report claims that any meeting would not be publicized and would be off the record but McGraw is still upset at the bad press he received when he was only trying to help out Britney and her family. Walker cites an inside source that says "Phil says his motivations were misunderstood and he wanted the family to know he wasn’t trying to use them for ratings. He says her still wants to help Britney – and he is more than willing to do it on the QT." While it's a nice gesture the family reportedly turned him down.
