Alli Sims: Britney Is Doing Good

It’s been a while since we've seen Alli Sims with her famous cousin, Britney Spears. Ever since papa Spears came into the picture, Alli has basically been MIA from Brit's life. Hollyscoop caught up with Alli last night at the Kritik clothing bash at Lisa Kline where she talked to us about her upcoming album, which she says will have a country edge, and cousin of course her cousin Brit.
When asked if there will be an Alli/Britney duet she told Hollyscoop, "I don’t know you never know about anything like that." She continued, “I am just glad to see that she’s doing good right now and I think that’s all she really needs to concentrate right now is her boys and stuff like that, they are so cute and they are getting so big." When asked if she's been in contact with the boys she said, “I haven’t seen them in awhile but I saw pictures, they are big…they are big boys now, they are not babies.”
So has Alli's world been dull since Britney's life stopped being so chaotic? Not at all, she said it's good to see Britney getting her life back on track. Agreed!

Exclusive: Neil Patrick Harris clarifies his Britney Spears remarks

In an exclusive statement, Neil Patrick Harris responds to the Associated Press article that suggested he would like Britney Spears banned from the set of his CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. "It seems that yesterday a writer took some quotes of mine and speculated an opinion about their intent. I write to you to set the record straight," the actor says. "Britney did a great job on the show. She really did. In fact, we are all hoping that she returns rather soon to reprise her role as Abby."
Spears guest starred as a lovestruck receptionist on the March 24 episode, which earned the series' highest ratings in the 18-49 demographic in its three seasons on the air. The appearance also garnered remarkably strong reviews for the troubled pop star. In the AP story, however, Harris was quoted as saying, "I'm in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed.... I worry that if they start Will & Grace-ing us too much, that the show will suffer." Now he tells EW.com that he would welcome Spears back — because he has "great faith" in the show's producers and writers. He also says, "My job description is to act, and I should really do just that."
The AP, meanwhile, stands by its story. "I respect his right to change his stance," says AP entertainment editor Jesse Washington, "but...Neil Patrick Harris told us unequivocally that he did not believe that Britney should be on the show

I have a high standard of quality, and hope to maintain it on every level. Television is big business, I understand that. I have great faith in our casting department, as well as [Twentieth Century Fox Television] and CBS, to find the appropriate person for every role on our show. I was remiss in speculating otherwise. My job description is to act, and I should really do just that.

With all the smiling Britney Spears has been doing lately, her teeth have been under a lot of scrutiny - so it's no wonder we caught her at the dentist's office yesterday afternoon!Unfortunately, actually getting into the dentist's was an ordeal unto itself, thanks to Britney's rough-and-ready security guards. In their zeal to protect their client from the paps, they actually pressed the pop princess up against a wall, eliciting a shriek of sincere surprise - jeez, guys, when are you going to be more careful with Britney?Once inside, however, it was business as usual, and Britney emerged after a little while freshly brushed up. Britney Spears Shopping for Reality Show?

Every time Britney Spears goes shopping it turns into a media circus, so it makes sense that the pop diva would be shopping her own life for a television show. Word is her manager has been trying to get the networks to start up a new series focusing on the day-to-day doings of the head-shaving, hoo-ha-flashing, fake-British-accent-talking, wig-wearing Britney Spears. It would be an easy way to cash in while Spears attempts to make a comeback, her manager has said. And Britney herself is behind the idea. “She believes a reality show is a no-brainer. She can be herself and not have to study lines,” a source told the National Enquirer. “Several production companies are interested in a Britney reality show and are willing to pay her millions.”There’s no word on how Kevin Federline feels about the show, but considering K-Fed’s got custody of the kids, it doesn’t matter much. Britney’s meltdown a few months ago may have cost her quality time with Preston and Sean, but one could argue that at least it freed her up for more work. Other upcoming reality stars, such as Denise Richards and Lindsay Lohan’s mom have come under fire for featuring their underage family members.The only one who is against the idea of a Britney Spears reality show is her father, Jamie Spears. His daughter’s comeback is probably contingent on the 26-year-old staying clean and sober, not distracted by cameras in her face 24/7.But isn’t that what her life is like now anyway? Larry Rudolph On Meeting With Spears: ‘Britney’s Doing Great’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --Britney Spears’ former manager, Larry Rudolph, has branded the pop star “the world’s greatest entertainer” and said fans should be prepared for an amazing comeback.“The public, for a while, was throwing darts at her,” Rudolph, who has met with Spears in recent weeks, said on a video clip on his MySpace Celebrity Blog. “She was like that red dart in the center of the dartboard, just getting hit, and I think that the tide turned and people started to understand a little bit more of what’s really going on there and they started to feel for her.”Rudolph said now that the public has a better grasp about the situation with the “…Baby One More Time” singer, people “are on her side.”“I think everybody’s rooting for her,” he said in the clip. “Everybody understands what she’s been through, everybody wants to see her get through it and everybody wants to see Britney back. Even Britney Spears was moved to donate to the cause- and she gave big.According to an inside source, the “Toxic” singer was so moved by Wednesday night’s television special that she hopped on the phone and hooked AI up with a $25,000 donation.A source told press, “She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie’s permission.
