Britney Spears’ dad has begged the troubled star’s ex-husband Kevin Federline to take her back, it has been claimed.Jamie Spears is reportedly desperate to see Federline and Spears reunite, and for Kevin to assume control of her affairs.But K-Fed is resisting Jamie’s efforts to become the conservator of 26-year-old Spears’ estate, according to U.S reports.Federline, who was dumped by Britney in November 2006, currently has custody of the former couple’s two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.“Jamie is tired, and he’d like Kevin to be involved with Britney’s mental care,” an insider told the National Enquirer magazine. “Jamie also believes Britney would do much better seeing her kids more often - and she’d be more open to seeking treatment voluntarily if she had the boys in her life.”

The attorney who persists in representing Britney Spears, despite having been given instructions to the contrary, is still on the court's case. New York-based lawyer Jon Eardley filed a new batch of documents Monday related to his appeal of the legality of Britney's conservatorship, including a declaration from a UCLA law professor that supports his theory that the 26-year-old pop star never received proper notice—as mandated by state law—that her father was seeking control of her estate. A Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner named Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet coconservators of Britney's estimated $100 million fortune on Feb. 1, a day after she was committed to the neuropsychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center for observation.

Believe it or not, the recent drama in Britney’s life just may have helped her family dynamic. Last night the “Gimme More” singer was out with father Jamie and mother Lynne to celebrate Lynne’s birthday.
The Spears trio landed at Café Malibu in Malibu, California for an enchanted evening that saw Jamie and Lynne acting more civil and loving than they have since their divorce. Could it be that some good could actually come out of Britney’s past chaos?

Britney Spears Spills on Jamie Lynn Spears Baby, It’s a Girl?

Did Britney Spears just spill the sex of the baby for her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears? She may have leaked out that the baby is a girl. The report comes from the New York Post’s Gossip website Page Six.Com and they note that it may be all over for Jamie Lynn and Casey Aldridge the father of the baby.
In that story, the paper notes that Jamie Lynn is feeling better and getting out and about more and will even get a guest spot on the new ABC sitcom Miss Guided. But she may be finished with Casey. It’s not official but she has been trying to distance herself from the eighteen-year old young man, the report claims. However the source says mom is not happy.

Mom believes that Britney’s little sister would have a better image if she works it out with Casey and they look like a little unmarried family all set to live happily ever after or at least until the baby is born and next TV role offer comes in. The source claims that Lynne Spears thinks the younger crowd will have more faith in Jamie if it appears she is working things out with her boyfriend.
The family also now knows the sex of the baby, the source says, and Britney alluded that it was a girl. Of course, the family may have just let that slip to Britney knowing it would get leaked out. So it might be a boy. With the family Spears one never really knows.

Gibson wants Spears for ‘Joan of Arc’?

Mel Gibson has asked Britney Spears to star as Joan of Arc in a new movie, say reports.
The singer, 26, was allegedly offered the role during a meal with Gibson at LA’s Romanov restaurant.
According to the Daily Star, the Lethal Weapon actor is working on a remake of the 1928 movie The Passion of Joan of Arc and thinks the popstar would be ideal for the main role.
A source commented: “She will particularly empathise with Joan in the scene where she shaves her hair off, after hearing God inside her head.”
