Kevin Federline to Turn 30 in Las Vegas
It won't all be child's play for Kevin Federline next month. The father of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1 – his children with ex-wife Britney Spears – will take a break from parenting on March 21 to celebrate his 30th birthday in Las Vegas, PEOPLE has learned. Just like at his 29th birthday, Federline will celebrate at Caesars Palace's Pure nightclub. Last year, his parents and even ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson attended the bash at the club. Pure's Web site indicates that the DJ for March 21 will be DJ AM.

Jamie Lynn is College-Bound
Now that Jamie Lynn Spears is a proud high-school graduate, friends of the mom-to-be tell OK! that little sis of Britney Spears is now exploring the idea of going to college. "She's probably going to start with courses at a local school," explains the friend, "with the idea of going to a major university in the future." The 16-year-old's top choice of schools is currently Southeastern Louisiana University, which is only about an hour's drive from Liberty, Mississippi, the hometown of Jamie Lynn's boyfriend Casey Aldridge.And while Jamie Lynn and Casey are still very much a couple, rumors of them getting hitched anytime soon are "completely untrue," the friend tells OK!. "Right now it's all about the baby. That's where Jamie Lynn's focus is. Everything else will be decided on down the line." That "everything else" includes Jamie Lynn's career. The Zoey 101 star is putting motherhood first and will take her time seeing where her career fits in. "I don't think anyone knows exactly what she's going to do," the source says, "but it may be a few years before she comes back to Hollywood, if at all. She's a very grown-up 16 and is going to take her time in making the smartest decisions for herself and her baby."

Thanks to daddy Spears, Britney enjoyed another visit from her boys earlier today. K-Fed's bodyguard dropped off Sean Preston and Jayden James to Brit's house around 9AM this morning and they stayed for a little more than three hours. This is the third visit she's had with the boys in 5 days. Spears and K-Fed's camps are due back in court on April 9 for another custody hearing. After the boys left she treated herself to some Starbucks. She needed a caffeine fix y'all. On a side note, what's up with the guy in the background with the pink wig following her around?

Britney Wigs Out Again
Oh Oh Daddy is not going to be happy about this one! The NY Daily News reports that earlier this month Britney Spears showed up to the Betsey Johnson store on Melrose Ave. with a Dolce & Gabbana dress she wanted the store to copy - in all white - to be ready by that evening. Aside from the fact that the dress wasn't even their label, "the staff explained that they didn't have a dressmaker on call who could do it in time." Since the store couldn't grant her request, she settled for a yellow wig on a mannequin in the window. The wig wasn't for sale but "the manager eventually agreed to offer it to her for $100." We all know what happens to Spears when the colored wigs come on. All she needs now is some tore up fishnets and she'll be ready to go. Expect to see her at your local gas station some time this week.

On again off again on again...According to TMZ, the Britney LAPD investigation is back on and their target is Sam Lutfi. The Robbery Homicide division of LAPD is officially investigating Lutfi for allegedly drugging Brit. Captain Kyle Jackson of Robbery Homicide has issued the following statement: "The issues regarding Britney Spears are being considered by the department to determine if laws have been violated. Particular suspects have not yet been fully identified nor has a formal investigation into open charges officially commenced. At this time we don't know whether or not a formal investigation will be initiated." Even though they didn't actually confirm the investigation, we hope one way or another they throw Sam in the slammer and he becomes a bitch to some guy named Butch. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Lynne: Jamie Has Been a Rock for Britney
Britney Spears has been on major lock down lately, but this is the most sane she's been for over a year, and we have her dad Jamie to thank for it. Brit's mom Lynne Spears has been praising her ex-hubby for stepping up to the plate and getting things under control again. "Jamie had to change his whole routine. Lynne sings his praises. He has been such a rock. He has stepped up to the plate," a family friend tells People. "He's gathered a team of reputable people who are around [Britney] now. She's not well, but for the first time in a long time she has people around her who really care about her." LAPD: Britney Drugging Up for Review
The Los Angeles police department is chock-full of inquiring minds. And inquiring minds apparently want to know whether or not Britney Spears was drugged.
While no official investigation has been launched into the allegations, which were first brought to the public's attention by Britney's mother, Lynne, in a wrenching, 14-page deposition filed earlier this month, the LAPD has confirmed that the accusations that Spears was drugged are being "considered" by the department.
"The issues regarding Britney Spears are being considered by the department to determine if laws have been violated," the Robbery-Homicide division's Captain Kyle Jackson said Wednesday. "Particular suspects have not yet been fully identified nor has a formal investigation into open charges officially commenced."
"At this time, we don't know whether or not a formal investigation will be initiated."
The possible investigation stems from comments made by Mama Spears in court documents filed in conjunction with the family's request for a temporary restraining order against the singer's former manager, Sam Lutfi, on Feb. 1, in which she proved far less concerned for discretion than the LAPD.
In her affidavit accompanying the request for the order, Lynne alleged, point-blank, "Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney."
She went on to claim that Lutfi even boasted to her directly that he ground up pills, among them Risperdal and Seroquel, and put them in Britney's food.
For his part, Lutfi, whom the LAPD has never mentioned as part of their potential investigation, confirmed to E! News shortly after Lynne's allegations came to light that he had in fact given Spears "a handful of pills" on Jan. 30, just before her parents arrived at her Studio City home and just prior to her second hospitalization.
He went on to say that the pills were "working wonders—they are miracle pills." He declined to state, however, what pills, exactly, he was feeding the singer.

Britney's 'Affectionate' Visits with Her Kids
Britney Spears is spending more quality time with her sons. Preston, 2, and Jayden, 17 months, spent more time at their mother's house on Wednesday morning – the third visit Spears has had with her children since lawyers for the singer and her ex-husband Kevin Federline reached a visitation agreement on Feb. 22. Spears's recent visits with her boys have been full of hugs and affection, PEOPLE reports in its new issue (on newsstands Friday). "Kids this age are amazingly resilient, and the very close bond that Britney has with her children is apparent," a source tells PEOPLE. On Saturday, Spears reunited with her sons for the first time since she was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Jan. 3. She also had another visit with them Monday. According to the source, Spears's father, Jamie, and psychiatrist Dr. Lee Sadja have been monitoring the visits between the boys and Spears, who has had two stints in the hospital this year. Sadja began treating the singer during her most recent hospitalization at the UCLA Medical Center psych ward.

Police 'Considering' Britney Drugging Allegations
Police in Los Angeles say they are looking into allegations that Britney Spears was drugged, the Associated Press and TMZ are reporting. In a statement to AP, Police Captain Kyle Jackson says the claims "are being considered," though a formal investigation has not been launched. Wacky Attorney Still Claims He's Britney's Lawyer
Despite his inability to meet standard court deadlines and a federal judge's ruling against his claims, Jon Eardley, the attorney who says he represents Britney Spears, vowed Wednesday to continue his fight."We have only just begun the fight," Eardley said in a statment. "There is nothing that will stop me from dismantling, if necessary, this oppressive and unjust conservatorship."On Feb. 1, a California court appointed Brit's father, Jamie Spears conservator over her personal and business affairs. A court approved attorney, Andrew Wallet was named co-conservator and another attorney, Samuel Ingham was appointed as the singer's lawyer. Eardley still claims Britney, 26, hired him on Feb. 12, however, lawyers for Jamie Spears argued that Eardley's claims were invalid because under the conservatorship, Britney is not legally able to hire her own counsel. Yesterday, Federal District Judge Philip Gutierrez ruled the state court's appointment of Sam Ingham precluded Eardley from acting as Britney's lawyer. Judge Gutierrez also ruled the case would remain in state court, not federal court as Eardley sought, because Eardley had no authority to move it. Since the conservatorship was established, Jamie Spears has managed to quiet his daughter's usual out of control lifestyle which, over the past year, has spiraled downward into a whirlwind of craziness, including a stint in rehab, british accents, pink wings and ultimately Britney's hospitalization and the loss of custody and visitation rights with her sons. Eardley claims the conservatorship violates Britney's civil rights and that her conservators are not acting in her best interest.The conservatorship has been extended on two occasions, and remains in effect until March 10.

It is an issue for the state courts and that's back where it has been sent.
Federal District Judge Philip Gutierrez ruled that Jon Eardley, the attorney who claimed Britney contacted him to contest the conservatorship, "had no authority to remove the case from state court." The judge added that "Mr. Eardley is not Ms. Spears attorney and acted improperly by removing her conservatorship proceeding to federal court."
Hopefully Jon Eardley will get reprimanded by the bar association for lawyers!
