Sam Lutfi Denies Restraining Order Was Extended

Sam Lutfi says a restraining order banning him from Britney Spears hasn't been extended.
In a statement released Friday, he said reports that he has been barred from seeing the singer until April 16 "have not been proven to date."
He said he never agreed to an extension, adding, "I want my case heard by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge."
In March, Lutfi filed papers objecting to the California Superior Court commissioner who ordered him to stay away from the singer.
Lutfi is free to appear in court on April 16 to petition for a new judge.
In February, a restraining order was issued against him after Lynne Spears accused him of drugging her daughter.

Producer: Britney Spears Welcome Back on Sitcom

Britney Spears is always welcome back to How I Met Your Mother.
“We always said, ‘You know, if her character pops, we’ll bring her back,’” the CBS sitcom’s executive producer Carter Bays tells the Associated Press. “I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode.”
On the March 24 show Spears, 26, played at receptionist at a dermatologist’s office, opposite Josh Radnor. Costar Neil Patrick Harris said Spears was “really funny”.
“It was totally weird,” Bays said of having Spears on the set. “I think we have a very, like, kind of Midwestern homey vibe here on the show, and it was strange to suddenly have helicopters circling.” he said.
The episode wrapped up with Spears’s character flirting with womanizer Barney (Harris). The following week, in an episode in which Spears did not appear, a “mystery woman” sabotaging Barney’s usually successful attempts to pick up ladies was introduced into the plot.
Asked if Spears might end up to be the saboteur, Bays replied “Could be. There’s no reason why not” — though he also suggested it could be Spears’s guest costar Sarah Chalke.
So, will Britney come back or won’t she? “I don’t know,” he said. “I don’t know the answer to that.” –Stephen M. Silverman.

Britney Spears may have had shopping for little sister Jamie Lynn on the top of her agenda while visiting designer Christian Audigier at the Ed Hardy offices yesterday, but there was definitely business at hand. “She wants to work on a clothing line with Christian,” says Ed Hardy representative Nicole Irving, who adds, “it was a closed door meeting, but we will say that they are planning to do a children’s clothing line.” Spears sought out the former Von Dutch designer specifically to discuss the project, seeking his “flair on the line.” Irving explains, “I know the one thing she stressed, she loves and really respects Christian as a designer.” As for the pop star, who spent the morning with her sons Jayden and Preston, Irving describes her as “just really warm and in good spirits.” Source-People

Britney Spears visited the Tracey Ross boutique in Sunset Plaza yesterday to pick up a Members Only black leather bomber jacket, some Vena Cava dresses, a Jovovich Hawk dress, a Millions of Smiles sweater...and a police escort.The usually pap-baiting pop princess stayed largely hidden inside the store and didn’t leave until she secured the protection of L.A. County sheriff's deputies and a battered black umbrella (strangely, the umbrella seemed the more effective of the two).An eyewitness tells E! News, "Britney looked very happy to be at the boutique. She was acting so sweet and lovely to everyone around her. She was charming and in a great mood. She even signed an autograph for a little girl inside the store!"Britney also reportedly batted her eyes at the eyelash extensions offered at the boutique. A source at the store says Brit plans on making an appointment with eyelash expert Sandi Schroeder to get her own eyelashes extended. Maybe a SWAT team can airlift Sandi over to Brit’s place for a house call.

Britney Gets Snooped

It seems well known that the UCLA Medical Center has a big problem on their hands. We know a few weeks ago they outed some employees that had searched in to Britney Spears' medical records.And it wasn't low level employees, it was doctors as well. Six people were fired over the incident and two were suspended and reprimanded. I would hate to think what they do when your asleep!!Now, word has leaked out that other star's medical records have been looked at too. It seems that medical personnel are being paid off by tabloid magazines to peak and give scoops on conditions. UCLA would now be the last stop for anyone wanting some privacy. Farrah Fawcett is the latest patient to have her confidentiality breached. It seems that when her cancer had relapsed last fall, an employee found out and tipped off the Enquirer. The Enquirer printed the story before Farrah could tell her son and her mother! How awful.If I was a star, I would seriously be wondering about my records at UCLA. This is two incidents in recent months where employees have been canned for snooping. I hope the tabloids paid them well for the scoop since they are out of jobs, now. Kevin Federline's lawyer says that with the help of father Jamie Spears, Britney Spears is heading in the right direction. But he urged restraint in saying the pop star is already fully recovered. Larry Rudolph, the one time manager of Britney Spears who she famously ditched and publically blamed for pushing her into rehab, is speaking out about his newly mended relationship with the singer.In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn't seen Britney in more than a year--until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever."After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn't talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she's doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she's in a great place right now."As for a Britney comeback, Rudolph says, "People love her. They really love her. People understand what she's been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she'll get it together. And I think she'll have a huge career again. He also talked about his hot new MTV project, "Rock the Cradle." Rudolph has had an on-again/off-again relationship with Brit, most recently ended in early 2007 when he encouraged her to seek help. Now the two are talking again, but it's too early to say if he'll be managing her. "She'll get it together. I think she's gonna make the biggest comeback in history," Rudolph told "Extra" today. Ex-Manager: Britney Spears "Is On The Right Path"

Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph confirms that he has met the singer and says she's "doing great.
"I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being," Rudolph said.
He would not comment further, explaining, "this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing."
Last week, a source tells that Spears met with Rudolph, who is credited for discovering her and managing her career for 9 years. (They stopped talking last February after she blamed him for forcing her into rehab.)
"People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her," a friend of the Spears family said. "He's the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise."
Rudolph is currently producing the MTV show Rock the Cradle, which debuts April 3.
