After two months of supervision for her mental health issues, Britney Spears is reportedly keen to improve her body’s physical health too.The star has been spotted visiting multiple dental clinics this week and according to the Mirror, is working on the other end of her digestive system too and has started having regular colon cleansing sessions at the clinic in Beverly Hills.A source at the clinic told the newspaper: “Cleansing a few times a week gets rid of lingering stuff in the colon. Britney’s had the treatment before and says it makes her feel great, more upbeat and energetic.”

While not exactly MIA, Britney Spears certainly isn't quite as...visible (and we don't just mean in the vaginal sense) as she used to be premeltdown, prehospitalization and, as it turns out, preconservatorship.
Not only is the popster spending time with her kids again, but she's also working, eating in restaurants that don't offer a drive-thru option and—we thought it seemed quiet—hasn't been the cause of a traffic stop, police motorcade or late-night field trip to a gas-station food mart in some time.

Forget the dance floor, these days Madonna's doing all her confessing on the radio.
In an exclusive interview with the Yo on E! satellite radio show, the newly minted Rock and Roll Hall of Famer holds forth on her former spit-swapping buddy Britney Spears, her upcoming album and the relentless rumors that her marriage is in peril. (Listen to the interview.)
About her pop protégé, Madonna says that Spears remains the artist of choice for 11-year-old daughter Lourdes (Rocco, meanwhile, prefers the dulcet tones of Chris Brown and Usher) and said that, like her discerning daughter, she remains a supporter of the beleaguered star.
"They need to step off," Madonna said of the tabloid and paparazzi focus on Spears. "For real...Let's go save her."
Madonna says Lourdes, who met Spears "back in the day," is equally concerned, albeit in an age-appropriate way.
"She knows Britney, but doesn't catch all that gossip stuff. So I think she sorta gets the drift of what's going on, and I think she's kind of protective of Britney."
As for Madonna's own home life, she cautions that headlines can be deceiving.
"We still have to take turns," the chart topper said of hubby Guy Ritchie with regard to marital compromise. "It's not easy."
It's also, however, not as the tabloids portray.
"You know how people are. It is ridiculous," she says of the recent slate of state-of-her-union reports. "I don't pay much attention to it."
What she does pay attention to is keeping her now slightly larger family unit tight.
Of the Ritchie family's latest addition, Malawi-born son David, Madonna calls his presence nothing short of "amazing."
"He's the life of the party. He loves music, he's an amazing dancer, he's just a character."
As for whether raising an adopted child is any different from her genetic children, she says she was surprised in that she "thought it would be, but it feels the same, to tell you the truth."
The superstar singer, currently gearing up to summer in the U.S., a country she says she misses despite loving living in the U.K., also talked shop, particularly about her upcoming album, Hard Candy.
"It is sexy," she said. "I think it's got some hard set beats, but there's some sweetness on top. I like the juxtaposition."
She also hazarded a guess as to why some of her more recent albums seemed to connect more with her overseas fan base than her U.S. one, chalking it up to the records' British producers and the fact that "the vibe was more European."
"Now my copilots are American and it has more of an American feel."
The patriotism-approved Hard Candy is due out April 29.

Bugaboo stroller? Check. Educational toys by Leap Frog and Baby Einstein? Yup. Cookie Monster towels? Got 'em. Although you can barely tell that Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant, the baby is coming and it appears that the 16-year-old — and her rumored fiancé Casey Aldridge — have registered in preparation for baby. But is it really the parents' wish list — or just another Internet hoax? While the Babies 'R Us registry seems like it could be the real deal (the basic info seems legit — hometown is Kentwood, La., due date is July 10), none of the big-ticket items have been purchased from the list — only three small things, including two items that retail for $1.99 each. And if it is their registry, they could have spellchecked their "special message" that reads: "THANK YOU FOR SUPPRTING [sic] US DURING THIS SPECIAL TIME."
In recent years, registries under celebrity names have turned out be a mixed bag. Back when Tori Spelling got married for the first ime, her Tiffany & Co. registry was online and anyone in the world could log in and view her wish list, which included a $2,800 menorah. (No word on whether or not she returned it after she got divorced!) And just last year, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, also registered at Tiffany's, requested a sterling silver scalloped bowl at a whopping $1,500! On the other hand, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had several wedding registries that turned out to be fake. There were also several fake ones created when Jamie Lynn's big sister, Britney Spears, was pregnant. When reached for comment about the authenticity of the registry, a Babies 'R Us spokesperson told Star they have a policy of not commenting on their clients.

Lutfi's publicist insists he is "a good guy"

Sam Lutfi's publicist has claimed that his client is a "good guy" who has been unfairly cast as a villain in the ongoing Britney Spears saga.Lutfi, Britney's former manager, was told that he must stay away from the singer after her parents applied for a restraining order in February. The ban was renewed for a further 30 days earlier this week.Sam has now filed an official objection to the California Superior Court commissioner who is overseeing Britney's case. He is expected to appear in court on April 16 to appeal for a new judge. His publicist Michael Sands told the Daily Record: "Sam did an outstanding job and participated in Britney's intervention on January 31. LAPD mental health experts were there that night and they thought he did a star job helping in the intervention."Sam is really a good guy and the public perception is not appropriate. That is the bottom line."

Madonna: I Work Out to Britney Spears' Album

Madonna has a surprising choice when it comes to what she listens to while exercising.
"I actually love Britney Spears's new album," she told New York's Z100-FM Thursday. "I usually work out to her record. I do a combination of pilates and dance aerobics."
The singer also explained why she gave Justin Timberlake a shot of B-12 while they were collaborating on her new album, Hard Candy.
"The reason I gave him a B-12 [shot] is because we only had a certain amount of days in the studio and I didn't want him to use that as a lame-a-- excuse not to come to work," she said. "Okay? It's got nothing to do with butt. I promise you. Listen, I don't need to give him a shot to see his butt. Duh."
Madonna – who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month for her 25-year career span – admitted she's sick of some of her earlier music.
"I'm not sure I can sing 'Holiday' or 'Like A Virgin' ever again," she said. "I just can't – unless somebody paid me like $30 million or something. [Maybe if] some Russian guy wants me to come to the wedding he's going to have to a 17-year-old, you know it."

Britney Spears could be heading to the UK after being offered an acting job on the West End stage.
The Star reports that the troubled popstar has been offered the lead role in a London production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
This week her cameo appearance in sitcom How I Met Your Mother aired and doubled the shows’ ratings. Britney even received good reviews from US critics.
A theatre source told the newspaper they want her for the character of Blanche DuBois whose character parallel’s Spears’ own problems.

So, this morning I read on Hollywood.tv that execs are considering giving Brit her own sitcom. Let’s be real here. It was good, it was better than we all expected, it was sweet but it wasn’t that funny.People tuned in for the same reasons people always tune in for Britney. They want to be shocked or catch something bizarre.It’s sad but true. You have a handful of real die hard fans who love her no matter what, probably a million people. Then you have another million or so who love the daily soap opera of Britney-Gate and who watch because they’re expecting full blown tragedy like the VMA’s.NO ONE is funny enough to earn a sitcom after 4 minutes of lines. Again, people trying to earn money off her really quick before the jig is up. Sitcom execs would spit her out the second people stopped tuning in.I say, let her continue to earn her way back into success. Handing her shit just because we were all shocked that she didn’t throw poop against the wall and drool on herself is not going to help her.She needs structure and reward and you will see her slowly comeback. This poor girl has never been told no and her reality is not healthy.I want nothing more than to see Brit succeed but with determination, hard work, and real commitment. Showing up to say 4 minutes of lines is not enough to determine that she has earned a show. I mean, how sad is that, that we are all going YAY!!! because she could function. Come on! Lets hope Britney gets well for good and for life!

People reports that a court has given Britney Spears' dad, Jamie Spears, "the power to 'sell or dispose of' an undisclosed number of her seven cars." Fox News says that a lawyer for Britney's father stated that "the cost of upkeep for Brit's army of vehicles was really running up the bills." According to NME, Mr. Spears "will maintain control of the estate until a hearing on July 31." Britney's fleet of cars includes a Mercedes-Benz SL65 Roadster and CLK350 Convertible, a MINI Cooper Convertible and an undisclosed Audi. Autoblog notes that a classic 1956 Porsche 356A Speedster may be among the lot as well.The Mercedes convertible may be the most famous of the brood, as it's been involved in several incidents over the past year. These include the pop star's run-in with the law when she illegally parked in a handicapped space (as reported by US magazine) and, on a separate occasion, ran over a cop's foot (as reported by People). Is Britney Spears back to dating the help? She certainly is back to speaking with her British accent but with her big debut on "How I Met Your Mother" getting rave reviews, perhaps she is just practicing for a part in her next acting role. According to a report from us Weekly magazine, Britney Spears celebrated her big TV comeback Monday night with a dinner date with her bodyguard and a female friend in Beverly Hills.

The report notes that the singer had a good reason to rejoice: Her cameo on CBS' Hot I Met Your Mother helped the show earn its highest ratings ever!The show spiked to a series high 4.5 preliminary rating among adults 18-49, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Critics also praised her performance. "She looked beautiful and had screen presence," Charna Halpern, artistic director of Chicago’s Improv Olympic Comedy Club, tells Us. "Even when she was behind the desk and they made her look kind of homely, she was adorable."

Britney Getting a Bum Rap?

Britney Spears' attorney is trying his best to steer her out of trouble.
Legal eagle Michael Flanagan tells E! News he's not planning to let the beleaguered singer cop a plea on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid California license, saying it's who his client is and not what she did that's keeping this case on the docket.
"Anyone can see this is not the case of the century. The fact is that Britney is being treated differently," he said. "This should be just treated as a fix-it ticket or an infraction."
"Her mother, father, sister all have Louisiana licenses," Flanagan added. "It is a Louisiana family. In California, you have to get a license within 10 days if you are domiciled here.
"But whether you are domiciled is a state of mind. She had a valid Louisiana license at the time of the accident without a mark on her record."
Spears is scheduled to go to trial June 18, a court date her camp is looking to avoid.
Flanagan has drafted a motion to have the case dismissed but, because it's Britney, he'll have to take at least one extra step before he files.
The defendant needs to sign a declaration permitting him to move forward, but Flanagan figures he'll have to get the go-ahead from the 26-year-old divorcée's conservatorship, considering Britney has been ruled temporarily incapable of entering a plea on her own behalf.
"It may be that Jamie or Lynne have to sign for her," the lawyer said. Lynne Spears, Britney's mom, is not part of the conservatorship, however, so it's dad Jamie Spears and his coconservator, attorney Andrew Wallet, whose signatures would be needed to seal the deal.
Britney's vehicular troubles stem from her August 2007 run-in with a parked car that was captured ever-so-efficiently by the ubiquitous paparazzi. Although she eventually settled up with the car's owner, a complaint had already been filed, leading to the invalid license charge.

"Britney would tell her how beautiful and talented she was," says Marty Rendleman, Kristy’s manager at the time. "She told her that she would do whatever she needed to promote her and help launch her career."
The pop diva even promised to be in Kristy’s first video once her album dropped. But in 2003, Kristy asked to be released from her contract to pursue independent music projects.
It may have seemed like a questionable move at the time, but we're starting to think Simon has underestimated this season-seven finalist because one of these girls has a tour coming up this summer...and it's not Britney.

Henry Rollins is shooting his mouth off again…and this time it’s about Britney Spears. He claims that Britney can’t sing on her own albums. This is what he said:“They have the black chick come in and sing, and Britney sings over it, and they mix them together,” said Rollins, who has his own talk show on IFC. “(Britney) gets her phrasing basically from this older R&B woman.I found that out talking to an engineer. “Britney apparently isn’t actually the worst singer, she just has no feel. So they bring in this older black woman who sings the song, then Britney sings to it, and they kind of make a mix of the two voices, and that’s what you hear on the records.”

Since Britney Spears is boring now, a ton of paps that once followed her every move have been reassigned to Miley Cyrus. For the past few weeks there are at least 30 paparazzi's that follow Miley day and night. The NY Daily News reports, "Over the weekend, there were less than a half dozen covering Britney. Yet there were 30 in the pack covering Miley Cyrus. Most of them were Britney regulars, but they want something new and fresh. It's moved on to Miley." At this point Miley could end up in rehab by her 18th birthday. She's loving the attention wayyyy too much. It doesn't help that her attention hungry mother follows her around and buys the paps goodies like food and Starbucks. I'd follow her around for a venti caramel frap too.

And, surprisingly enough, when it aired last night, the show received its highest ratings ever!
Even more surprising, the critics liked it!
The Associated Press stated, "Britney the Trainwreck showed how she can still be Britney the Performer. The 26-year-old pop star, who previously was on a 2006 episode of Will and Grace, appeared fresh-faced and relaxed, capably filling the small role."
The Daily News stated that for "those who hang on every one of Britney's career moves, this bold casting decision worked out. Spears proved she can act every bit as well as she can sing, and with some of the nuances she brought to the character, you'd almost swear she'd been there before."
Could this possibly be the comeback Britney and the rest of the world has been waiting for?
