Washington, May 1: Britney Spears couldn't have asked for anything else this Mother's Day other than spending the day with her kids, and thanks to the growing friendship with ex-hubby Kevin Federline, her wish has actually come true.
The rapper/ dancer has agreed to let Sean Preston and Jayden James to spend 11 May (08) with their popstar mum, who lost their custody after she staged a stand-off with police, emergency services officials and childcare experts when she refused to handover her sons after a scheduled visitation in January (08).
While K-Fed has full custody of the kids, the couple have been battling the custody order ever since.
However, the air seems to have cooled on both the fronts and K-Fed has agreed to allow Britney to spend more time with their sons. From what a family friend has revealed to Life and Style magazine, Federline is contemplating the idea of granting the 'Toxic' star overnight visits with the kids, after Spears filed a formal request with the courts."He hasn't said yes yet, but he's considering it," Contactmusic quoted the insider, as saying. In fact, sources have also claimed that Federline, who once dreaded chatting with Britney on the phone, has now become quite friendly with the 26-year-old singer. While K-Fed calls Spears his "lady," the singer ends calls by telling him that she loves him."It's such a huge change. It hasn't been like this between them in forever," said a pal.
